Precision Coffee Company - Nevada, MO
Nevada, MO (pronounced Nev-ay-da) is a small city just Southeast of Kansas City, with a population of around 8,000. I visited downtown Nevada on a weekday morning, and while it was filled with plenty of shops on a traditional “Main Street” adjacent to a “town square,” it was eerily quiet.
That’s why I was surprised to stumble upon Precision Coffee Company, a rustically designed café on Cherry street. I was floored by the incredible interior - string lights hung from brick wall revealing a stunning and original ceiling pattern, leather furniture, and stacks of books for extra decoration.
My admiration for this place did not stop there. I learned shortly after that not only do they make Ethiopian and charcoal based coffee drinks, but they specialize in savory scones. I tried the spinach feta scone, hot out of the oven, and it was delicious! The scone was a great complement to my also tasty almond milk latte.
If you ever find yourself in southwestern Missouri, I highly recommend a stop at this little gem!
